Polis Partners has been engaged to provide advice and support in the design and delivery of new functions and branches in government, including establishing:

  • The Housing Coordination Office and the Centre for Population at the Commonwealth Treasury
  • An economics function at the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • The Performance and Pricing Branch at the Australian Tertiary Education Commission (ATEC)
  • The Universities Accord Implementation Branch and the Education Measurement Branch within the Commonwealth Department of Education
  • The Centre for Population within Commonwealth Treasury, and
  • The Strategy and Funding Branch at UrbanGrowth NSW

We have supported these agencies through the processes by providing a strategic advisory role as well as specialised and/or technical advice including:

  • Strategic planning
  • Stakeholder mapping and engagement (including internal stakeholders, state and territory governments, central agencies and industry)
  • Organisational design and capability requirements
  • Governance and operations design
  • Policy reform and support
  • Funding and offsets
  • Benefits identification, management and realisation

We worked within these newly established functions and teams to deliver intended policy outcomes and required organisation design and documentation (both governance and financial) that underpin the successful delivery of the new functions and services.
