Polis Partners has deep experience supporting arts and cultural institutions through rigorous economic, financial and social impact analysis to inform strategic decision-making and investment.

Across major performing arts, cultural education and cultural infrastructure projects, we have partnered with leading institutions and delivery specialists to quantify direct economic contributions, long-term industry impacts and broader social and cultural value. Our work spans assessments of organisational operations, alumni and workforce outcomes, cultural influence, urban renewal impacts and community benefits, where we have combined traditional economic metrics with evidence-based analysis of cultural and social outcomes.

Some of our work has included:

  • completing an evaluation of the National Institute of Dramatic Art’s (NIDA) economic and social impact to support strategic planning and future funding applications
  • undertaking an economic and financial evaluation to support the National Aboriginal Islander Skills Development Association (NAISDA) Dance College with its business case to government seeking to expand the Dance College’s facilities through the Naya Wa Yugali campus, and
  • completing an economic evaluation of the proposed Jewish Arts Quarter (JAQ) cultural precinct in Elsternwick, Victoria that would consolidate the Jewish Museum of Australia, the Kadimah Jewish Cultural Centre, and the National Library into a single, modern facility.

We translate complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives that support business cases, funding applications and stakeholder engagement, helping arts organisations demonstrate their value (financial, social and cultural) to government, industry and philanthropic funders to secure investment in nationally significant cultural initiatives.
