The Challenge
The Location-Preferred HELP Debtor Program faced significant backlogs and unclear processes, compounded by the development of a new ICT system. The department required streamlined processes and options to prevent future delays.
The Action
Polis Partners reviewed end-to-end processes, identified priority improvements, and categorised options by impact and feasibility. We developed resource models under multiple scenarios current and revised processes, with and without backlog—to quantify staffing requirements.
The Results
A draft Operational Guidance document was delivered, and the program backlog was cleared. The department now has a clearer, scalable approach to ongoing administration.
